Chris Tollefson breaks down landmark climate decision with CBC’s Gloria Macarenko

Chris Tollefson (co-counsel for the plaintiffs) spoke with Gloria Macarenko (CBC/Radio-Canada On the Coast) about the momentous ruling this week: La Rose v. Canada at the Federal Court of Appeal. Chris breaks down the legal significance of the decision and discusses the road ahead for these young plaintiffs.

This decision has important implications for access to justice, Charter interpretation and is an important step in the fight against the climate emergency.
